Huntsman at JEC World 2018

Huntsman Advanced Materials says that it will be showing its range of composite, adhesive and syntactic products to help enable lightweighting in a wide range of applications at JEC World 2018.

Its materials can be used in individual components such as a carbon hybrid composite wheel to a complete full-functional composite motorcycle frame, BMW HP4 Race, Huntsman says. On the stand will be hybrid and composite leaf springs for heavy-and light-duty vehicles along with a number of parts manufactured using its resin transfer molding (RTM) process for the mass production of lightweight composite components.

‘Across the automotive and aerospace industries, there is ongoing demand for new and innovative composite solutions, as we continue to move towards the mass production of lightweight components,’ said Nastassja Kelley, marketing director at Huntsman.
