Thomas Müllner is taking over management of Dieffenbacher’s Composites Division, replacing Heinrich Ernst, who is retiring after 23 years with the company. Müllner has worked for Dieffenbacher for six years.
Grant Pearce, Managing Director of Exel Composites Australia and member of Exel Composites plc’s Management Group, has resigned. The search for his replacement has started. In the meanwhile, Callum Gough, SVP Operations, will assume Pearce’s responsibilities as Managing Director.
David Owen has been appointed Vice President of European Sales and Business Development, Vermont Composites Inc (VCI), of Bennington, Vermont, USA. He will be based in Cambridge, UK, and will focus on the aerospace and medical markets. Prior to joining VCI, Owen worked for Hexcel as Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe.
Neil Johnson has been appointed as Chairman of Umeco plc, the advanced composite materials and supply chain services company. Johnson currently holds a number of senior Board and advisory positions with public and private companies. He replaces Brian McGowans, who retired at the end of August.
