Owens Corning has appointed Chuck Dana group president, Building Materials, replacing Karel Czanderna, who has resigned from the company. Arnaud Genis succeeds Dana as group president, Composites.

Dana has held a number of leadership positions at Owens Corning since joining the company in 1996 and has led the company's global composites business since 2002.

Genis was previously vice president and managing director, Composites Europe.

Dana and Genis will both report to Mike Thaman, Owens Corning chairman and chief executive officer.

Strongwell Corporation, headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, USA, has namedG. David Oakley, Jr.as President and CEO. He replaces John D. Tickle who has held the position since 1972. Tickle will remain involved in the business as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Oakley comes to Strongwell, a leading composites pultruder, from HAPCO Pole Products of Abingdon, Virginia, where he had been President since 2007.

A. Keith Liskey, Strongwell’s Executive Vice President & COO since 1993, will retire from full-time involvement with the company at the end of March 2011 but will act as Senior Advisor on a part-time basis through 2014.
