“Our acquisition is in line with our aim to develop a more sustainable range of products including non-hazardous alternatives to acetone,” the company said in a press release.
GRP Solutions has also appointed Vince Taylor, formerly operations manager at Estakleen, as its new business development manager for Estakleen products, and Glenn Russell, who manages the Estakleen warehouse and cleaning service.
“Offering an eco-friendlier solvent replacement system to the industrial market, consisting of an acetone replacement and workstations, forms part of our wider ambition to drive change through the composites market,” said Brian Harpur, MD of GRP Solutions. “This non-flammable, non-toxic and non-harmful approach to cleaning tools is a more sustainable solution which lasts three to four times longer than acetone.”
