Composites UK makes new appointments

Re-elected onto the Board and chosen by the Association’s Directors to lead the organisation for the next two years was Andrew Dugmore, President of TRB Lightweight Structures. Andrew is a Composites Engineer by background, serving some 17 years on the shop floor for both SMEs and Tier One companies. Now in senior management, he joined the Composites UK Board in 2012 and has been a driving force in guiding the activities of the Association.

Sue Halliwell, Operations Manager said: “Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Chairman and the office team looks forward to working with him and the rest of the Board over the coming two years.”

Chris Little of Consuta Training, stepped down from the role of Chairman after four years but will continue as Vice Chairman and Training Director for the Association. “The Board would like to formally thank Chris for the work he did whilst he was Chairman,” continued Sue, who worked closely with Chris during this period “Chris took the Association through huge change and transition. During his term we moved to our own independent offices, employed our own staff and the membership more than doubled in numbers. He has helped build a solid foundation from which to move forward.”
