Webinar on composite bike parts

9T Labs has released details of a webinar focusing on using additive fusion technology (AFT) to make continuous fiber composite bicycle components.

According to the company, structural parts such as suspension rocker arms and crankshafts can be made using these types of composites rather than aluminum.

The webinar takes place on 6 September 6 at 3:00 pm CEST and will cover software, hardware and composite materials, and how AFT differs from other additive manufacturing methods such as fused filament fabrication. Presenters will also detail the AFT workflow for a bicycle part, from design to the final manufactured component.
