The webinar will be run by Sebastian Schmidhuber, innovations and basics development manager at machinery supplier KraussMaffei, and Dr Alexander Chaloupka, managing director and CTO of sensXPERT.
It will cover KraussMaffei’s thermoplastic resin transfer molding (T-RTM) process which can be used to produce large-scale polyamide 6 parts. These parts can have a high fiber volume content, giving them higher mechanical strength at a lower cost, according to the companies.
The webinar will also describe how real-time polymerization and crystallization detection can help engineers break predetermined processes, making production more sustainable. “Dr. Chaloupka gives insights about what guaranteed process stability looks like and demonstrates that dynamic parameter adaption as well as certain process amendments make sense to enhance materials for better results,” sensXPERT said.
