Porcher Industries plans to showcase a range of its products at Techtextil 2019, taking place from 14 to 17 May in Frankfurt, Germany.

On display will be thermoplastic 5G radome technology, non-combustible Flamline fabric and a recycled lightweight fabric for the outdoor sports apparel market.

Porcher Industries developed a bespoke glass reinforced thermoplastic material for the base structural component of the SATCOM radome. The composite material solution has improved impact resistance and efficient processing and can tune the dielectric constant (Dk) for 5G Air-to-Ground transmission, the company says. The material technology is also suitable for markets such as mobile telecommunications and big data wireless networks.
