Porcher Sport, the sports and leisure division of Porcher Industries, plans to be a race sponsor of the Red Bull X-Alps 2019 paragliding race. Entering athletes will use the company’s Skytex 27 paragliding fabrics. Skytex27 uses a polyurethane (PU) coating for stability in flight.
The company has reportedly also made a prototype of its newly developed lightweight performance fabric that weighs 21 gsm and which will be available in 2020.
