“The China Composites Centre with its world-class capabilities connected to Owens Corning innovation sites in the United States, France and the Netherlands will make it the hub for innovation in glass reinforcements and composite applications in China," says Ashish Diwanji, vice president of innovation for Owens Corning Composite Solutions Business.
"We will work side-by-side with our customers and partners to drive the use of composites materials in applications, accelerating the development of the Chinese composites industry.”
The China Composites Centre will also partner with local universities and institutes specialising in materials science, chemistry, characterisation and processing. Composites training for industry will also be offered.
