In addition to lightweight construction concepts, state-of-the-art manufacturing and automation solutions for composites take centre stage this year. In particular, COMPOSITES EUROPE 2013 will focus on key composite technologies for the automotive, aerospace, wind power, and building and construction markets.
The list of exhibitors extends from raw materials producers to suppliers, processors and technology manufacturers through to service providers for the composites industry. Among them: BASF, Evonik, Lange + Ritter, Rampf Tooling, Toray, Saertex, Gaugler & Lutz, Johns Manville, KraussMaffei and Schuler SMG.
First-time COMPOSITES EUROPE exhibitors this year include Dow Europe, Broetje-Automation, Aristo Graphic Systeme and CCP Composites.

More than 7000 visitors came to the last COMPOSITES EUROPE in Stuttgart two years ago, and more than 8000 attended the trade fair in 2012 when it was held in Düsseldorf parallel to the ALUMINIUM World Trade Fair.
AVK conference, COMPOSITES Forum & Product Demonstration Area
The COMPOSITES EUROPE supporting programme ranges from the COMPOSITES Forum to the Product Demonstration Area, where specialists provide an overview of the trends in the market for composite materials.
Preceding the trade fair is the annual AVK International Conference on 16-17 September.
HYBRID Expo
The new trade fair HYBRID Expo will premiere on 17-19 September, alongside COMPOSITES EUROPE.
HYBRID Expo will showcase the complete process chain for f hybrid components – from materials research to manufacturing and processing, machinery, plant and tools, to the finished component. Around 100 exhibitors are expected.
One focus of HYBRID Expo is the production of metal-plastic composites.
COMPOSITES EUROPE is organised by Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with the European industry association EuCIA, AVK, the VDMA Forum Composite Technology and the international trade magazine Reinforced Plastics.
