The company, established in 1952 in Harrogate, UK, developed polymer technology for industrial repair and maintenance procedures, including machinery, equipment, buildings and structures.
Its materials now have over 140 distributors in more than 120 countries, the company said.
Belzona is now focusing on making products made from bio-based materials produced from sustainable plant-based feedstocks, rather than the traditional fossil-fuel based ingredients.
“Belzona has been around for 70 years, but the environmental benefits have never been as important as they are today,” said Jérémie Maillard, sales director at the company.
