Roth Composite Machinery has developed a new filament winding machine, a standardized version of a gantry-type filament winding machine.
The Type 1-ECO machine is suitable for small series as well as manual production processes for applications comprising a low product complexity or for the entry into the field of filament winding technology. It is equipped with all basic functions and has a modular concept of up to four spindles and a maximum of four winding axes and two configurable length variants of 4,000 and 10,000 mm). Each spindle is driven separately making retrofitting easier.
The company says that production lines using its composite machinery have shorter installation times and help ensure a fast start of the production.
