Roth Composite Machinery, AZL and other companies have joined forces to develop winding technologies for composite pressure tanks.

This is reportedly part of a four-year partnership with a network of more than 80 companies launched in June 2020, the companies said. The composite pipes and vessels AZL workgroup will include fiber and tape manufacturers as well as liner, product and machine manufacturers, and cover both thermoset and thermoplastic composite pressure vessels.

‘For us, the membership of the AZL network is important in order to get in touch with users, interested parties and partners, to identify new technology needs at an early stage and to receive impulses for the development of new solutions,’ said Andreas Reimann, MD of Roth Composite Machinery.
