PRF Composite Materials, based in Poole, UK, has installed a new unidirectional (UD) prepreg line. The new line has been installed at PRF’s head office and prepreg manufacturing facility and follows in house resin system development making the new materials compatible with PRF’s range of woven prepregs.
The company says that its UD prepreg capability includes carbon materials from 80 to 600 gsm, at standard widths of 300 mm and 600 mm, with other widths possible.
