Dura Composites has developed a new glass fiber reinforced floor grating that it says offers the best performance-to-weight ratio in its class.
d2 Dura Grating is available in standard, mini-mesh and covered formats in a variety of colours and thicknesses, the company said. It achieves Class B fire rating in accordance with the BS EN 13501-1 standard and a Euroclass rating of Bfl-s1, making it suitable for a range of project installations requiring fire safety.
After three months of tests, the slip-resistance of the surface was reduced by only 5%, Dura added.
