Composites supplier, Dura Composites, has developed a new composite decking with improved element resistance.

Dura Deck Resist is a co-extruded decking board with a 360 degree outer angle which protects its core from the elements. It is produced via a co-extrusion process and is colour fade resistant, strength load resistant, stain resistant and also slip-resistant, the company says. It is available in six colours. The decking is engineered to resist the ignition of fire and achieves Bfl-s1 according to BS EN 13501.

The company has also reported improved its Dura Deck Eco range which has been produced to be both ecological and economical. It is available in two widths and in three colours: teak, charcoal and stone.
