The deal was announced in September 2013.
Toray acquired all of the outstanding Zoltek shares for $16.75 per share in cash, for a total equity value of approximately US$584 million.
US-headquartered Zoltek becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese chemicals company Toray and will operate as a separate business unit.
