Syrgis constructs new organic peroxides laboratory

The new facility will be located at the Syrgis manufacturing facility in Helena, Arkansas, USA, and will provide support for Syrgis’ global manufacturing enterprise as well as global customers.

It is expected to be completed by May 2010.

“Technology leadership and application expertise are key strengths of each Syrgis company,” says Andy Harris, Syrgis CEO. “A key component of our strategy is to continuously improve our technology position across the corporation. We are committed to making the investments to implement this strategy and accelerate our innovation programme, even more so in today’s uncertain times. This new laboratory will provide Syrgis and our customers with additional tools for further differentiation in the organic peroxides marketplace.”

“This investment reflects Syrgis’ commitment to the reinforced fibreglass composite markets as well as to manufacturing in the United States and the state of Arkansas," he adds.

The new laboratory was announced at the Composites 2010 show in Las Vegas, USA, last week.
