The LARR approval encompasses EXTREN® structural profiles and plate, DURASHIELD® building panels, SAFPLANK® planking panels and FIBREBOLT® studs and nuts used in structures requiring RF transparency for rooftop structures.
In order to achieve LARR approval, Strongwell’s materials were exposed to third party testing, against a list of mechanical, fire, ultraviolet (UV) and weathering ASTM standards.
As well as rooftop screening, Strongwell says it composite structures can be used in applications including achitectural facades, trellis, skyscraper treatments, and even bus-stops.
