Scott Bader increases NA production

Scott Bader has invested US$16m to build a new production site in Mocksville, North Carolina.

The 110,000 ft2 industrial unit will be used to make gelcoat and structural adhesives for composites. It will be the company’s second North American manufacturing site, following installation of a plant in Drummondville, Canada.

The Canada site has recently production of its Crestabond M1 range.

The company says that new development could create 27 new jobs locally, with 21 in manufacturing and the other roles shared across HR, R&D, commercial support and applications.
