Elixir, based in Bangalore, supplies adhesives, sealants and dispensing systems to a range of industries including transportation, renewable energy, aerospace, machine building and general manufacturing.
Scott Bader says that its Crestabond primeless methyl methacrylate (MMA) structural adhesives can bond a range of substrates including composites, thermoplastics and metals.
“India is one of the fastest growing regions for advanced composites across several renewable energy markets such as wind energy, solar power and electric vehicles,” said Latha Ekambaram, Scott Bader commercial director. “There is also increased demand for the light weighting of components in the Indian rail and automotive markets.”
