SAERTEX and KEMROCK form joint venture for Indian aerospace industry

The joint venture will be called SAERTEX-KEMROCK India Ltd and it will set up a new facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, for producing composite components, with particular focus on the Indian aerospace industry. The facility is expected to be commissioned in mid 2010.

SAERTEX is a producer of non-crimp glass, carbon and aramid fabrics for the composites industry. The company already has a subsidiary located in Pune, India. SAERTEX India, established in 2006, produces glass fibre non-crimp fabrics for use in composite wind turbine blade manufacture, automotive and industrial applications.

KEMROCK's facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, is capable of manufacturing various composite products, including wind turbine blades, pipes, moulded and pultruded gratings, and custom mouldings.
