Reichhold Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (Reichhold Turkey), with its head office in Istanbul, was established in 2006 with manufacturing partner Ege Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (Ege Kimya) based in Adapazari.
The additional manufacturing partnership with Ilkalem will expand Reichhold activities in Turkey. Ilkalem, located in Istanbul, produces speciality resins, gel-coats and pigment pastes in Turkey. Ilkalem will manufacture selected Reichhold products, expanding the range of Reichhold products produced in Turkey and increasing its overall capacity.
Reichhold will support both Turkish manufacturing partners and assist them in developing their manufacturing facilities and operations in order to service the Reichhold range of products produced in Turkey.
Based on this expanded manufacturing platform in Turkey, Reichhold aims to further contribute to the long term growth of the Turkish composites and coatings industries.
Reichhold, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, manufactures unsaturated polyester resins and supplies coating resins for the industrial, transportation, building and construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets.
