The facility, Reichhold's first manufacturing facility in India, has a planned annual capacity of 13 200 tonnes.
Initially, the plant will manufacture unsaturated polyester resins for wind turbine, glass reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe, chemical equipment, automotive and general purpose applications.

Reichhold, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, manufactures unsaturated polyester resins and supplies coating resins to the industrial, transportation, construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets. The company has manufacturing operations in North America, Latin America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and India.
