The price increase US$0.05/lb is effective for all orders shipped on, or after, 10 September.
“Persistent escalation of raw material prices continue to increase our costs, leaving us no choice but to raise our prices," reports Bill Schramm, Vice-President Commercial North American Composites, Reichhold.
"Raw material costs are expected to remain volatile during the balance of 2012 and into 2013 given uncertainties in the global economies."
Reichhold is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA.
- US-resin supplier AOC has also announced a September price increase for all its composites products in North America. It will increase prices by US$0.05/lb in the US and CN$0.11/kg in Canada on 3 September 2012.
