The price increase today of US$0.06/lb is effective for all orders shipped on, or after, 3 December 2012.
“Persistent escalation of raw material prices continues to increase our costs, leaving us no choice other than to raise our selling prices," says Bill Schramm, Vice-President Commercial North American Composites, Reichhold.
"Raw material costs are expected to remain volatile during the balance of 2012 and into 2013 given uncertainties in the global economies,” he adds.
