Recycling resins in Turkey

Vanden Recycling says that it has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey.

The company’s Turkish business will trade as Vanden Polimer Geri Donusum AS, Vanden said.

According to Vanden, Turkey’s current recycling rate is 13% and following the country’s Zero Waste Project, aims to take this up to 35% by 2023.

‘‘Our goal in Turkey is to help the local plastic manufacturing market increase its use of recycled content,’ said Vanden Recycling CEO, Damien van Leuven. ‘Vanden will provide access to international markets for recycled resins and products made in Turkey.’
