Chemicals company Lanxess plans to showcase a range of its fiber reinforced composites at the Battery Show Europe, reportedly the biggest trade fair for battery technology and manufacture in Europe, taking place from 30 November- 2 December 2021 in Stuttgart, Germany.
According to the company, lithium-ion batteries, the electric powertrain and the charging infra-structure are important applications for its range of polyamides, polyesters and fiber-reinforced composites. ‘For example, flame-retardant materials for battery components and thermally conductive materials for battery modules are in high demand in the field of thermal manage-ment,’ a press release said.
