PlastiComp Inc, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, says the new facility will be the centre of technology development for its LFT compounds and parts businesses. Corporate administrative offices and technical development projects will also be located there.
LFT pellet production will continue at PlastiComp's established Winona plant, although the new facility will provide space for future expansion for LFT pellet production.
PlastiComp manufactures LFT pellets under the Complet® brand and also manufactures LFT pellets for other companies that sell the products under their own brand names. PlastiComp also licenses LFT technology to other companies. Globally, twelve LFT lines incorporating PlastiComp technology will be operational by 2013.
