The Lach Diamant Tools can be used for machining, turning, drilling, milling, cut-off and deburring of fibre reinforced materials, including CFRP, GRP and mixed materials.

For the last 40 years this programme has been available for applications in the aircraft and wind power industries, as well as for the leading processors in the plastic industry. The company adds that it is now available for PCD and electro-plated tool applications.

Lach Diamant says that it has added a new development to the range – a PCD hollow drill with internal dust extraction for hole diameters of 30 mm and above. Dangerous dust produced in the drilling processes of CFRP or GRP, for example, are instantly eliminated or extracted.
