Keynote speaker for Composites Innovation show

NetComposites has announced that Andrew Mafeld of Connectra Global will be the keynote speaker at Composites Innovation 2016, taking place from 22-23 June in Sheffield, UK.

The presentation will provide an overview of global developments in carbon and glass fiber composites in the automotive industry, focusing particularly on the processes used and many examples.

Andrew Mafeld has over thirty years of experience in the global composites industry covering the carbon, glass and natural fiber sectors as well as the associated end use industries of automotive and truck, aerospace, construction, industrial, sports and leisure, defence, appliances, oil and gas and many others which make use of composite materials.

This year’s Composites Innovation conference will explore developments related to new and advanced manufacturing processes for products made of composite materials, with particular focus on innovation related to the automation of processes for light-weighting and increased composites production rates.
