Program announced for Composites Innovation 2016

The organizers of the Composites Innovation conference have released information about the event program.

This year’s conference, which features speakers from Altair, Plataine, Coriolis, Exel Composites, Flow International, Mafic and Sandvik, will reportedly cover developments related to new and advanced manufacturing processes for products made of composite materials, with particular focus on innovation related to the automation of processes for lightweighting and increased composites production rates.

Sessions will include:

  • Process simulation & planning
  • Automated lay-up of composites
  • Materials
  • Resin transfer moulding and infusion
  • Machining

The event also features a tour of the composites center of conference sponsors Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC).
