The event will take place from 20–21 June 2018 in Nottingham, UK and will focus on innovation related to the automation of processes for lightweighting and increased composites production rates.
Keynote presentations will be provided by Richard Collins, technology analyst for IDTechEx and Henry Sarrel-Cooke, business development manager for GKN Wheels and Structures.
‘Richard Collins will be a fantastic start to the conference as he discussed how automaton is key to cracking the composite industry’s toughest problems,’ said Gemma Smith, NetComposites communications director. ‘Henry SarrelCooke will follow this up to highlight challenges faced by the industry and what automation can do to overcome this from his own perspective.’
The conference sessions will over automated material placement, digital manufacturing, high volume manufacturing, design, machining and cost.
