MultiStar 819 will be made available in Europe from JM's manufacturing operation in Trnava, Slovakia, where it was developed using new processing technology.
MultiStar 819 roving is characterised by an excellent chopping behaviour with very low antistatic, which improves the dosing consistency during the spray-up application. The sizing has been designed for fast wet-out behaviour to increase productivity.
"This new development further strengthens the MultiStar product portfolio already in use for SMC (sheet moulding compounds), panel moulding, LFI (long fibre injection) for PU reinforcements, and weaving operations in Europe with more than a dozen product offerings in assembled rovings,“ explains Mauro Malanchini, sales leader of the JM Fibers Europe business.
