Intertek awarded Nadcap accreditation for composites testing

The Nadcap accreditation AC7122/1 has been awarded to Intertek’s PTL, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA, laboratory for satisfying aerospace and automotive materials customer requirements and industry specifications.

Intertek (LSE: ITRK) is a provider of quality and safety solutions for a range of industries, from auditing and inspection, to testing, quality assurance and certification. It has a network of over 1000 laboratories and offices and over 26 000 people in 100 countries.

Created in 1990 by SAE Inc, Nadcap is administered by the not-for-profit Performance Review Institute (PRI). PRI was established to advance the interests of the mobility and related industries through development of performance standards and administration of quality assurance, accreditation and certification programmes for the benefit of industry, government, and the general public.
