Gurit has been selected as the supplier for carbon fiber-based automotive body panels by a British automotive OEM.
The total value of the four-year contract is around CHF 15 million and the project is scheduled to start in June 2018.
Prototyping and development work for the project will be carried out in the company’s technology center in the UK, while volume production of the car parts will be done at Gurit’s new Hungarian plant using the company’s press technology.
