Galway Carbon of Ireland supplied 11 new composite body parts, which reduced the weight of Solberg's customised 600 hp Citroën DS3 car over 56 kg.
The composite parts, including the nearside door, bonnet and boot, were manufactured from carbon fibre and Kevlar fabrics and Scott Bader's Crestopol® 1250LV urethane acrylate resin.
