Danish Yachts launches range of carbon composite military boats

The Guardian multi-purpose patrol vessel is available in three overall lengths –25 m, 31 m and 38 m – and is designed to achieve speeds in excess of 45 knots. It has a carbon fibre/epoxy composite sandwich construction. Standard layout on the 38 m provides accommodation for 20 and the boat has a range of up to 1200 miles.

Protector is a 45 m fast patrol boat with a carbon fibre/epoxy sandwich composite construction. It is designed to achieve speeds of up to 35 knots. Built as a multi-mission vessel, Protector provides helicopter landing on the aft deck and can accommodate a crew of 25.

Latest into the range of Danish Yachts’ military vessels are the Fast Patrol Interceptor (FPI) and the Police Strike Craft (PSC). Designed to achieve speeds up to 60 knots, they have planing deep-V hulls and can be fitted with either surface drives or waterjets. At just 18 m overall length, the FPI and the PSC provide accommodation for 8 personnel with a range of up to 400 miles at 50 knots.
