CFK Valley Stade will be exhibiting at the show on 9-11 October in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a joint stand of its own for the first time this year.

Three months before the start of the trade fair organiser Reed Exhibitions Deutschland says that  practically all the big names in the European composites industry have already booked their stands – from the five major CFRP producers to the leading specialists in technology and automation. This year, the themes of automation and serial production of composites will be highlighted.

Now in its seventh year, COMPOSITES EUROPE 2012 is co-located with the ALUMINIUM World Fair. More than 1300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries are expected at the combined event. COMPOSITES EUROPE will host 400 of these companies.

International AVK Conference

As in previous years, the International Conference of the AVK (Federation of Reinforced Plastics), Germany, will again be the preceed COMPOSITES EUROPE 2012. Conference topics on 8-9 October will include the glass reinforced plastic (GRP) and CFRP markets, current developments for serial production, and solutions for joining, repair and simulation.

VDMA Composite Technology Forum

Starting in 2012, the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.)'s Composite Technology Forum will support COMPOSITES EUROPE. The VDMA will contribute its own lectures to the Composites Forum programme which accompanies the fair.  

COMPOSITES EUROPE is organised by Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA), the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Reinforced Plastics magazine and AVK.

350 exhibitors and more than 7000 visitors took place at COMPOSITES EUROPE 2011 in Stuttgart.
