The company aims to complete the 770 000 ft3 facility in 2023. It will replace Bombardier’s plant in Downsview, Canada with energy consumption reduced by under 60%, the company said. Updated processing systems will lower greenhouse gas emissions by more than half, and less water will be used in the manufacturing process.
