Assunção will have access to Ashland’s full portfolio, including Arazyn™ and Aropol™ unsaturated polyester resins, Derakane™ epoxy vinyl ester resins and Maxguard™ gelcoats.
“The expansion of the distributors team in the northeast of the country is part of Ashland’s new strategic planning," says Paulo Henrique Rodrigues, account manager to the distribution market, Ashland Performance Materials, Brazil. "In such a region, most of the demand is met by the distribution.”
Bahia Fibra and Oticrel already trade Ashland products in the states of Bahia and Ceará, respectively.
Assunção has units in Recife and João Pessoa, where it employs more than 50 people.
