AOC adds that this investment underscores its commitment to the growing corrosion-resistant composite market which relies on the unique properties of vinyl ester resins.

AOC’s vinyl ester resins are employed in a range of corrosion-resistant applications, including water and wastewater treatment, marine, industrial tanks and pipes, and chemical processing.

“This new reactor is a major investment and exemplifies our continued focus on technology and growth,” said Fletcher Lindberg, AOC’s Vice President of Marketing. “The new equipment greatly expands our capacity, which allows us to serve more customers and meet their needs for larger jobs.”

According to AOC, the Florida manufacturing plant was the chosen location to maximise AOC’s global logistics network. Installation of the new reactor started more than a year ago with actual resin production beginning in March. The reactor utilises AOC’s proprietary manufacturing and control systems.
