According to UK-headquartered Amber Composites, cutting prepreg to required dimensions in a temperature-controlled environment at time of manufacture offers benefits such as extended material outlife, reduced waste and reduced labour costs.
Our high-volume customers find significant benefits in receiving pre-kitted prepreg and this addition to our cutting room will help us meet growing demand for this service. |

The Blackman & White Genesis 2300 computer-controlled cutting table offers a multi-tool head carrying rotary or fixed blades, markers, or an oscillating blade which leaves a clean and accurate cut even in Amber’s toughest prepreg.
Amber can create the kits from CAD files provided by the customer or by digitising physical shapes.
