Scott Bader says that two of its Crestabond grades of methacrylate primer-less structural adhesives are now available in black.

Crestabond M7-05 Black and M7-15 Black have been developed by Scott Bader for bonding pigmented ABS and carbon fiber (CF) composite components. These two new 1:1 mix ratio grades are in addition to existing black grades, which up until now have only been available in the Crestabond M1 (10:1) range.

The need for a black pigmented adhesive system has significantly increased in applications for motorsports, high performance and luxury cars, electric vehicles, racing yachts, and sports equipment, the company says.
