Scott Bader plans to launch two new brands at JEC World 2018, taking place from 6-8 March 2018 in Paris, France.

The two new brands are Crestafire and Crestafix. Crestafire covers all products that offer fire, smoke and toxic fume (FST) performance for manufacturing fire retardant (FR) composite parts to fire standards required in many building and construction, passenger rail, and land transport applications. The Crestafire range includes: FR gelcoats and intumescent topcoats, FR structural adhesives and a variety of FR rated open and closed mold, pultrusion and filament winding resins, compatible with glass, carbon and aramid fiber reinforcements.

The Crestafix range of rapid cure bonding pastes are reportedly strong, light and tough, developed for a range of markets including marine, automotive and land transportation.

Scott Bader will be giving technical presentations about both the Crestafire FST products and the Crestafix bonding paste product ranges. Visitors to the stand will also see a Caterham Seven CSR-260 sports car with a custom made lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof, infused using the company’s Crestapol 1260 resin. Technical experts will be on hand to answer questions about all the products available.
