Scott Bader plans to introduce two products at JEC World, taking place in Paris, France, in March.

The two new materials are the company’s new Crestafire intumescent FST system, and Crestapol 1270, a urethane acrylate resin for SMC and BMC.

Scott Bader will also be introducing Crestamould, a new brand for their matched tooling systems, at the show.

The Crestafire FST range was launched at JEC 2018, and this year Scott Bader will be adding an intumescent FST system, which has EN45545-2 and HL2 (R1) approval regarding fire requirements for the rail industry.

Crestapol 1270 is a urethane acrylate resin suitable for sheet molded compounds (SMC) and bulk molded compounds (BMC). Scott Bader’s stand will also feature a Cobra Shelby supercar made by South African company Backdraft Racing featuring composite car bodies built using Scott Bader resins, gelcoats and adhesive systems.
