Bedford Reinforced Plastics in the US has launched a new range of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) parts that it says can be easily installed using a modular system.

The ReadySeries range includes prefabricated industrial platforms, mezzanines, walkways, catwalks, fixed ladders, handrails, guardrails, stairs, stair towers, pedestrian bridges. They can be used independently or combined with other products in the series, the company said, by bolting them together.

If onsite adjustments are needed, the FRP can be cut, drilled and assembled with standard tools, according to Bedford.

The parts are fire retardant, dimensionally stable and OSHA compliant and feature anti-slip coatings.
