Academic and postdoctoral research staff at UK universities and associated research institutions are eligible to apply.
The Centre is looking to fund research which will aid the fundamental understanding of composites manufacturing. Awardees are expected to attract significant new industrial support and the subsequent major award will form a strategic part of the Centre activities.
Awards are limited to £50,000 at 80% full economic cost (FEC) and up to a maximum duration of six months.
The closing date for applications is 25 January 2013.
