Technical Fibre Products (TFP) reports that it will be exhibiting its nonwovens for composites at SAMPE China, taking place from 6–8 May 2019 in Beijing.
TFP will showcase its new lightweight carrier and support veils, as well as materials for applications such as aerospace and sporting goods. Visitors to the show can also find out more about the properties of the nonwovens and the variety of benefits they offer for composites, including imparting surface functionality to a composite component, electrical conductivity, and corrosion or wear resistance, TFP says. Further applications include improving the interlaminar fracture toughness of composites, imparting integrated fire protection, providing a barrier to galvanic corrosion and acting as a resin flow medium to improve resin transportation during fabrication.
